Using a competitor's diamond coated end mill, they were experiencing severe "peeling off" of the diamond film causing premature failure of the cutting tools.
With the competitor's diamond coated tool they were able to get only ten parts per tool. With CVD Diamond Corporation's diamond coated tools they routinely get 30-40 parts per tool.
